Žuta tabija before sunset

Yellow Fortress is one of the favorite spots among Sarajevo residents for watching the sunset. From the fortress walls, there is a panoramic view of Baščaršija, the Miljacka River, and the surrounding mountains. During Ramadan, a cannon is traditionally fired from here to mark the end of the daily fast, giving this place additional cultural significance. The fortress is reached by a leisurely walk from the old town.
