A small rocky cove on the eastern coast of Rhodes, known for its turquoise water and excellent snorkeling conditions. It was named after Hollywood actor Anthony Quinn, who filmed 'The Guns of Navarone' here in 1961 — he fell so in love with the place that he attempted to purchase the cove from the Greek government. One of the most famous natural coves on Rhodes. Access is via rocky terrain and wooden platforms — sunbeds are rented by nearby beach bars (around 15€ per pair with umbrella). The water is crystal clear, ideal for snorkeling and photography. Most beautiful early in the morning before the crowds, or in the late afternoon.
