A long sandy beach on the southern side of the Thermaic Gulf, around 35 km from the center of Thessaloniki. It is known for its natural surroundings (a protected Natura 2000 zone with rare plant species) and wide open views of the sea — free from the visual noise of the city shoreline. Particularly spectacular for watching the sunset over the gulf. Long walks along the shore and kitesurfing in the zone beyond the swimming area. Limited infrastructure (beach bars only in season) — bring water and food if you plan to spend the whole day.
