Barcola Beach

The most famous city beach in Trieste, located along the coastal boulevard Viale Miramare. Instead of a classic sandy beach, the shoreline consists of stone and concrete platforms with steps leading into the sea. During summer, the beach is frequented mainly by Trieste locals, and along the promenade there are cafes, restaurants, and views toward Miramare Castle.
