One of the largest urban parks in the world, bigger than New York's Central Park. It stretches over an area of 3.7 km² along the Isar river and offers surfing waves, a Japanese tea pavilion, a Chinese tower and beer gardens. A favorite spot for Munich locals to relax and recreate.
The park is free and open year-round. Chinesischer Turm with its beer garden is a special attraction — beer is paid for on the spot. Surfers on the artificial wave at Eisbach are visible from the bridge.
