Rovinj Aquarium

One of the oldest aquariums on the Mediterranean, opened in 1891 as part of the Center for Marine Research. More than 30 tanks showcase numerous species of the Adriatic Sea, including octopuses, seahorses, rays, shellfish, and various species of fish. Located right on the waterfront near the old town, it offers a fascinating insight into the rich underwater world of the northern Adriatic.
