A museum in the town of Vis that preserves finds from the ancient Greek colony of Issa, one of the first Greek settlements on the Adriatic (4th century BC). On display are ceramics, jewelry, coins, and the famous bronze head of a Greek warrior. It is located in a complex of an Austrian military barracks from the 19th century.
The ticket costs around 3 EUR. The museum has limited opening hours, mainly in the morning, so it is advisable to check the schedule before visiting. Guides are available for an additional fee.
