The museum preserves findings from archaeological sites across the Pieria region, including artifacts from prehistory, ancient Macedonia, and the Roman period. The collection encompasses sculptures, jewelry, ceramics, weapons, and coins that bear witness to the rich history of this part of northern Greece. It represents an excellent place to get acquainted with the cultural heritage at the foot of Mount Olympus.
