Archaeological Museum of Lefkada

Archaeological Museum of Lefkada

The museum preserves findings from excavations led by German archaeologist Wilhelm Dörpfeld at the beginning of the 20th century, as he attempted to prove that Lefkada was Homer's Ithaca. On display are objects from the Bronze Age, the Geometric period, and Hellenism, including ceramics, jewelry, and figurines.
