Located in the former 15th-century hospital of the Knights of St. John, the museum houses an exceptional collection of ancient sculptures, jewelry, ceramics, and mosaics from Rhodes and the surrounding islands. Particularly notable are the marble figure of the 'Aphrodite of Rhodes' and a series of funerary stelae. The hospital building itself ranks among the masterpieces of Gothic architecture.
The ticket is purchased at the entrance. A combined ticket with the Palace of the Grand Master may be available at a reduced price. The museum is closed on Mondays.
