Archaeological Museum of Rhodes

Housed in a former 15th-century hospital of the Knights of St. John, the museum preserves an exceptional collection of ancient sculptures, jewelry, ceramics, and mosaics from Rhodes and the surrounding islands. Particularly notable are the marble figure 'Aphrodite of Rhodes' and a series of funerary stelae. The hospital building itself ranks among the masterpieces of Gothic architecture.
