Archaeological Museum Zadar

One of the oldest museums in Croatia, founded in 1832, with a rich collection of finds ranging from prehistory to the Middle Ages. Particularly notable are the Roman and Illyrian artifacts, as well as finds discovered in the underwater area of the Zadar archipelago. The museum is located on the Roman forum, in the immediate vicinity of the Church of St. Donatus.
