Banská Bystrica – City Clock Tower

A freestanding Renaissance tower, 26 meters tall, located on the main city square Námestie SNP, originally used as a fire watchtower. It is one of the recognizable symbols of Banská Bystrica, and is open to visitors during the summer season. From the top of the tower, there is a beautiful view of the historic city center and the surrounding hills.
