The largest baptistery in Italy, whose construction spanned from 1152 to the 14th century, combining Romanesque and Gothic styles on its facade. The interior is renowned for its exceptional acoustics — guards regularly demonstrate an echo that lasts several seconds. The height of the rotunda reaches 55 meters.
