Barri Gòtic

Barri Gòtic

The oldest part of Barcelona, built on the foundations of the former Roman settlement of Barcino. Narrow cobblestone streets lead to hidden squares, Gothic churches, remains of Roman walls, and historic palaces that bear witness to more than two thousand years of the city's development. Today, Barri Gòtic is one of the most vibrant areas of Barcelona, full of small shops, galleries, restaurants, and cafés.
