A Romanesque basilica from the 12th century with a golden mosaic on the facade depicting the Ascension of Christ, one of the most recognizable images in the city. The interior houses a rich collection of chapels with frescoes and sculptures, including a portion of the mummified remains of St. Zita. The church is an active parish.
