A charming little palace with cave-like black rooftops — locals call it the 'House of Witches'. It was designed by the same Luigi Manini who worked on Quinta da Regaleira. After decades of abandonment, it opened to visitors in 2022 — with carefully restored rooms in a romantic style. Legend has it that the family owners lost their only daughter and soon died themselves, which is why the palace is said to be 'haunted'. Many visitors skip it in their rush to Regaleira — which is their loss. Ideal for lovers of mystery and romance. Five minutes from Regaleira.
