Biokovo — Skywalk and Nature Park

Mount Biokovo rises directly above Makarska to its peak Sveti Jure at 1,762 meters above sea level. One of the park's greatest attractions is the glass platform Skywalk, located at 1,228 meters, offering a spectacular view of the Makarska Riviera, the Adriatic Sea, and the islands of Hvar and Brač. The viewpoint is reached from Makarska via a panoramic road in about 45 minutes, while numerous hiking trails lead through almost the entire nature park.

Entry to the park is charged upon arrival by car; the Skywalk is included in the ticket price. Tickets are purchased at the toll booth. Warm clothing is recommended as the temperature at the top is significantly lower than at the coast.
