The oldest Slovenian castle, perched on a cliff 130 meters above the lake, with written records dating back to 1004. The castle houses a museum with archaeological findings, a printing workshop, and a winery. The view of the lake and the island from the castle walls is exceptional.
The ticket includes entry to the museum, chapel, and viewpoint. Children up to 6 years old enter free of charge. The ticket can be purchased online or on-site. A steep path leads to the castle on foot, approximately 15 minutes.
