A glacial lake in the Slovenian Alps, surrounded by forested hills and Mount Triglav in the background. One of the most photogenic places in Europe, known for its turquoise water and romantic atmosphere. The walk around the lake is approximately 6 km.
Walking around the lake is free of charge. Parking by the lake is paid. The most beautiful views are from the northern and western sides. An early arrival before 8 AM is recommended to avoid crowds and get better photographs.
