Bloemenmarkt

The famous flower market on the Singel canal and the last traditional floating flower market in the Netherlands. It was founded in the 19th century when flower sellers would deliver flowers by boat directly to the center of Amsterdam, and today it is located on a series of moored barges along the canal. Bloemenmarkt is known for its colorful flower arrangements, tulip bulbs, and other symbols of Dutch horticulture, making it one of the most recognizable attractions in the city.
