Bourtzi

A small wooded peninsula that divides the port of Skiathos into two parts, at the top of which stand the ruins of a 13th-century Venetian fortress. A short walking trail through pine trees leads to the remains of the walls and a lovely view of the harbor and the surrounding boats. Many local residents come here in the evenings for the peaceful atmosphere and the shade.
