Burg Square

One of the most important historical squares in Bruges, surrounded by notable buildings such as the 15th-century City Hall (Stadhuis) and the Basilica of the Holy Blood. Over the centuries it served as the political and administrative center of the city, and today it represents one of the key points for discovering the history and architecture of Bruges. Thanks to its proximity to the main landmarks, the Burg is a natural starting point for exploring the old town.
