Cappella Sansevero

A small Baroque chapel renowned for its exceptional works of art, most notably the sculpture 'Cristo Velato' (Veiled Christ) by sculptor Giuseppe Sanmartino. Thanks to the incredibly detailed carved marble veil that appears almost transparent, it is considered one of the greatest masterpieces of 18th-century Italian sculpture.
