Castelvecchio

A 14th-century Scaligeri fortress on the banks of the Adige River, one of the best-preserved medieval fortifications in northern Italy. Within its walls is the Castelvecchio Museum, housing a collection of sculptures, paintings, and weapons spanning from the Roman to the Renaissance period. The stone bridge Ponte Scaligero beside the fortress offers views of the river.
