Zentrum Paul Klee

Zentrum Paul Klee

The Zentrum Paul Klee opened on 20 June 2005 in a building designed by Renzo Piano, comprising three undulating hills of glass and steel. The museum holds around 4,000 works by the painter Paul Klee, representing approximately 40 per cent of his total output and forming the largest collection of his works in existence. In the children's studio Creaviva, children aged four and above can create their own artworks, and courses for adults are also available. The museum lies outside the Old Town, so plan to get there by public transport. Allow two to three hours for your visit, especially if you are travelling with children.
