An Etruscan-medieval town perched on an isolated tufa ridge, known as 'the dying city' due to soil erosion. It is accessible only via a pedestrian bridge approximately 300 meters long. Founded over 2,500 years ago, it today has only a handful of permanent residents and stands as one of the most extraordinary historic destinations in Italy.
Entrance to the bridge is paid at the ticket office in Bagnoregio. The price for adults is around 5 EUR. It is recommended to arrive early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid crowds and get better photographs.
