Torre dos Clérigos

A Baroque tower standing 75 meters tall — one of the most recognizable symbols of Porto. Climbing 240 steps leads to a viewing platform with a panoramic view of the historic city center, the Douro river, Vila Nova de Gaia, and the Atlantic coast in the distance. The tower is part of the 18th-century Baroque Clérigos church. Most beautiful before sunset when the historic center is bathed in golden tones. Tickets are available individually or combined with the church.
