A Romanesque church from the 11th–12th century that dominates the central square of Civita di Bagnoregio. The interior preserves fragments of religious frescoes and Etruscan sarcophagi that bear witness to the long, continuous habitation of this place. An active parish church and spiritual center of the small remaining population.
Entrance is free, but modest dress is recommended. The church may be closed during mass — a visit before noon or in the early afternoon is recommended.
