Church of the Holy Trinity

The Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, built in the early 19th century, is the main church in Budva's old town, recognizable by its alternating rows of light and reddish stone that give it a distinctive striped appearance. It is located on the square near the Citadel, alongside the churches of Saint John and Saint Mary in Puntas, forming the heart of the historic core. Inside, an iconostasis and frescoes are preserved, and in front of the church lies the grave of the writer Stefan Mitrov Ljubiša. A peaceful spot in the heart of the bustling old town.
