Decumanus — Roman Street

The main Roman street of Poreč, laid out as early as the 1st century BC, still serves as the primary pedestrian axis of the old town. Along it stand the remains of ancient buildings, Roman foundations, and Venetian palaces, making a walk down this street a journey through layers of history that have shaped the city over more than two thousand years.
