Dion — Ancient Archaeological Site

Dion was the sacred city of ancient Macedonia, dedicated to Zeus, located at the foot of Mount Olympus, about 20 km from Katerini. The site features visible remains of temples, baths, mosaics, and streets from the Hellenistic and Roman periods. The associated museum houses exceptional sculptures and artifacts discovered during archaeological excavations.
