Hofkirche

A Gothic church from the 16th century, built as a memorial monument to Emperor Maximilian I. At its center stands a richly decorated cenotaph, a symbolic tomb surrounded by 28 monumental bronze statues of historical and legendary figures, known as 'the black knights'. It is considered one of the most significant Renaissance monuments north of the Alps.
