Galata Tower

Galata Tower

The Genoese tower from 1348 dominates the panorama of the Galata district from its height of 67 meters. From the observation deck at the top, a 360° panoramic view unfolds over Istanbul, the Golden Horn, and the Bosphorus. It is one of the most recognizable symbols of the city and one of the most popular vantage points for observing the historic core of Istanbul.
