Arch of Galerius

A triumphal arch of the Roman Emperor Galerius, built around 298 AD to commemorate his victory over the Persians. Also known as the Kamara, it is one of the most recognizable ancient monuments of Thessaloniki. It was once part of a monumental complex that included the Rotunda and the Palace of Galerius.
