Landscaped gardens from the 16th century situated on the bastions of the Knights' fortifications, with panoramic views of the Grand Harbour and the cities of Birgu, Senglea and Cospicua. One of the most photographed spots in Malta. Every day at noon and at 4pm a ceremonial cannon is fired (Saluting Battery).
Entry to the gardens is free. A separate ticket of around 3 EUR is charged for visiting the Saluting Battery (the cannon platform below the gardens). The cannon is fired at exactly noon and at 4 PM.
