City Hall

City Hall

The City Hall of Subotica is one of the most recognizable works of Hungarian Art Nouveau in the city, built between 1908 and 1910 to a design by Marcell Komor and Dezső Jakab, while the interior decoration was completed in 1912. The facade and interior are distinguished by stylized floral motifs, ceramics, wrought iron, and stained glass, with the representative Great Council Chamber forming the centerpiece of the building. A tower 76 meters tall dominates the city center, while the viewing platform is located at a height of approximately 45 meters.
