City Loggia

City Loggia

A Renaissance city loggia from the 16th century stands on the Republic of Croatia Square, directly opposite St. James's Cathedral. The row of arches on the ground floor was once a covered space for city administration and a place where decisions were announced, while the upper floor served the councillors. Today it is one of the two most recognizable facades on the square and a natural stopping point during a tour of the old town.
