Remains of ancient Greek walls and a necropolis of the colony of Issa, visible on the outskirts of the modern town of Vis. Issa was one of the few self-governing Greek colonies on the eastern Adriatic coast, founded in the 4th century BC. The site bears witness to the long history of habitation on this island.
The site is accessible free of charge and can be explored independently. Combining the visit with the Issa Archaeological Collection is recommended for better contextual understanding. Informational panels are placed on-site.
