Grisia Street

The most famous art street in Rovinj, a steep cobblestone street connecting the old town with the Church of St. Euphemia at the top of the hill. It is known for its numerous galleries, studios, and souvenir shops of local artists. On the second Sunday of August, 'Grisia' is held — a traditional open-air exhibition that has existed since 1967 and brings together artists from Croatia and abroad — paintings and sculptures are displayed directly along the street. Ideal for an evening stroll when the illumination of the facades looks magical. The climb uphill is steep but short.
