Greek Theatre and Neapolis Archaeological Park

The Greek Theatre dating from the 5th century BC is one of the largest ancient theatres in the world, carved directly into the slope of the Temenite hill. Within the Neapolis Archaeological Park there are also a Roman amphitheatre, the Altar of Hieron (Altare di Ierone), and the Ear of Dionysius, a cave renowned for its exceptional acoustics.
