The 16th-century arsenal served as a shipyard for the Venetian fleet, and above it stands a theatre dating from 1612 — one of the oldest public theatres in Europe, predating many of the continent's more famous venues. Today the arsenal houses a contemporary art gallery, while the theatre remains active.
The ticket covers a visit to the arsenal and gallery, while a separate ticket must be purchased for the theater if a performance is showing. Located directly on St. Stephen's Square, easily accessible.
