Lake Brienz

Lake Brienz

A crystal clear glacial lake east of Interlaken, known for having some of the purest water in Switzerland. Nearby are the Ballenberg Open Air Museum and the picturesque Giessbach waterfalls, which can be reached by boat across the lake. The color of the water shifts from turquoise to deep blue depending on the light and the season, making the lake one of the most photographed natural attractions in the region.
