Jesuit Church

Jesuit Church

The first major Baroque church building in Switzerland, constructed between 1666 and 1677 after the model of the church of Il Gesù in Rome. It stands on the left bank of the Reuss, a few minutes' walk from Kapellbrücke. The interior is adorned with Baroque and Rococo stuccowork, and the church is also a popular concert venue.
