Calvary Hill

A small church sits atop a hill above the town, reached via the official circular walk known as the Kalvarienbergrunde: roughly four kilometres and an hour and a half on foot, with a gentle ascent of around a hundred metres. From the summit, there are views over the lake and the mountains surrounding it, and the path descends to the shore before returning along the lakeside promenade to the main square. The route is cleared in winter, making it walkable throughout the year.
