Kapellbrücke

A wooden pedestrian bridge from the 14th century, the oldest covered wooden bridge in Europe and a symbol of Lucerne. It stretches across the Reuss River and is decorated with a series of historical paintings from the 17th century beneath its roof. At night it is illuminated and offers an unforgettable sight.
