A 17th-century Venetian fortress built on top of a hill above the old town, on the foundations of a Roman capitol. Today it serves as the seat of the Historical Museum of Istria, housing a rich collection on the history of the peninsula. From the ramparts, a panoramic view opens up over Pula, the arena, and the Adriatic Sea.
Ticket includes the museum exhibition and access to the walls with a viewpoint. Accessible on foot through the old town via a gentle uphill path. An afternoon visit is recommended for a beautiful view of the sunset.
