Castello Saraceno (Taormina Fortress)

A medieval fortress at the top of Monte Tauro hill, at approximately 400 meters above sea level. A walking trail from the center of Taormina leads up to it, taking about 45 minutes. From the top, there is a panoramic view of Taormina, the Ionian Sea, Etna, and, on clear days, the coast of Calabria.
