Cattedrale di San Martino

A Romanesque cathedral dedicated to St. Martin, whose construction dates back to the 11th century, featuring a richly decorated facade of green and white marble. Inside, it houses the Volto Santo — a wooden effigy of Christ — and the tomb of Ilaria del Carretto, an early Renaissance masterpiece by Jacopo della Quercia. Entrance to the cathedral itself is free, while the museum section requires a ticket.
