Seville Cathedral and Giralda

The largest Gothic cathedral in the world, built in the 15th century on the site of a former mosque. Its bell tower, the Giralda, a former minaret standing 104 meters tall, is one of the symbols of Seville and offers views over the historic city center. The cathedral, together with the Alcázar and the Archive of the Indies, is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and it houses the monumental tomb of Christopher Columbus.
