Cathedral of St. Mark

The Cathedral of Saint Mark dominates the main town square and is the most important religious monument in Korčula. Built between the 14th and 17th centuries, it combines Gothic and Renaissance elements, while among the works of art in its interior are paintings and sculptures connected to Venetian artistic circles. Its stone facade is one of the most recognizable features of the city's historic core.
